not every verdict
is bad news.

A scanner that always says "not as healthy as you think" becomes noise. Ours says yes as confidently as it says no — and backs both with context.

Solid. One of the highest-protein-per-calorie picks on the aisle.

Real food, almost no marketing. Culture + milk + live strains. If you want a protein source that doesn't cost $8, this is the lane.

Cheaper equivalent

Store-brand plain yoghurt at ~60% of the price — nearly identical spec.

OK as a snack, not as breakfast.

Real ingredients, but the sugar is about half a Coke. One bar with coffee is fine. Calling this "breakfast" is where it starts to matter.

If you're hungry, not snacking

A banana + a handful of walnuts hits 7 g protein, half the sugar, same 180 kcal.

Mostly sugar water with a yoghurt flavour profile.

The packaging says "yoghurt"; the nutrition label says "Coke with calcium". No verdict on you for buying it — just not worth the sugar if you're watching it.

Same texture, 1/5 the sugar

Plain yoghurt + a handful of fresh berries. Takes 20 seconds. Feels the same in your mouth.

The three verbs. Nothing else for you to learn.

  1. № 01

    point.

Barcode or label. A live connection looks the product up against nutrition databases and pulls the numbers back in under a second.

  2. № 02

    read.

Macros, added-sugar flags, additive count, and a plain-English verdict — no emojis, no shaming.

  3. № 03

    swap.

When there's a cleaner, cheaper, or saner option, we name it. Otherwise we get out of your way.

Questions

three we get
a lot.

01 Does the scanner work offline?

No — the scanner needs a connection to look up each product. A cached history of everything you've already scanned stays available offline, so you can re-check a past verdict on the train, but first-time lookups need network.

02 Are you paid to prefer certain brands?

No. There are no sponsored verdicts, sponsored swaps, or affiliate links on product results. Swap suggestions are picked on spec — nothing else.

03 What if I think the verdict is wrong?

Tap "I disagree". It logs the product + your reason, no essays required. We review those weekly. Products with enough flags get re-checked manually.
