In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with avocado oil, baking powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Toss to evenly coat the wings with the seasoning mix.
Preheat the air fryer to 385°F (195°C).
Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring there is space between each piece.
Air fry the wings for 16 minutes, flipping them halfway through cooking. Apply an additional spray of oil if needed.
Meanwhile, prepare the lemon pepper sauce by heating butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add soy sauce, chopped garlic, black pepper, lemon juice, and honey to the pan, stirring constantly until slightly reduced.
Once wings are cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), toss them in the lemon pepper sauce to coat evenly.
Garnish the wings with fresh lemon zest and chopped cilantro before serving.
